The International MG & Triumph Spares Day kickstarted ClassicLine’s 2025 show season calendar!
Despite being greeted by a wet, misty February morning and with disruptions on the A46 (thank you HS2…), the day got off to a great start. Held at the NAEC Stoneleigh, this busy autojumble and spares day is bustling with vehicle enthusiasts searching for that elusive part for their pride and joy.
As a specialist in classic Triumph and MG insurance, this is one of our favourite events of the year. Our pitch was busy all morning, meeting new customers and catching up with existing clients. It was really good to see the team from the Shropshire Spitfire Project, who have been working against a tight deadline to get the car ready for paint. Restoring a cherished 1960s Triumph Spitfire back to its former glory whilst raising vital funds for a local Shropshire hospice, the project is really coming along now, and we can’t wait to see it painted at the NEC Restoration Show in March.
Ahead of its unveiling, read more on this incredible classic car restoration project and what it means to the Shropshire community: A Legacy of Love: Restoring a Triumph Spitfire for Shropshire Hospice
As is usual with the MG & Triumph Spares Day, there was a great array of new and used spares on offer and excellent car club displays. A must for all lovers of classic MG and Triumphs, we’ll certainly be back in 2026!
