We have agreed a new partnership with The Association of Rootes Car Clubs (ARCC).

The ARCC is an association for multiple car clubs that are all dedicated to the car manufacturer Rootes and its subsidiaries, Humber, Commer, Hillman, Karrier, Singer, Sunbeam and Talbot. It aims to be a pillar in the Rootes classic car community, helping with the communication and cooperation between the associated clubs. They also grant access to the Rootes Archive Centre, which holds a large collection of the manufacturer’s technical drawings.

…we’re proud to help support the club and its members.

Ian Fray – Managing Director

Ian Fray, managing director at ClassicLine explained “It’s fantastic to be partnering with the ARCC, particularly so following our work with The Sunbeam, Talbot Alpine Register. The Rootes group are an incredibly important part of British manufacturing heritage and so we’re proud to help support the club and its members.”

The new scheme offers includes:

  • Comprehensive cover, with continental use included.
  • Unlimited mileage.
  • UK and Continental breakdown and recovery included with Home Start.
  • Sensible policy excesses.
  • A dedicated claims line is used for claims reporting and should any vehicle be subject importantly, the policyholder will be able to choose a repairer of his or her own choice. This eliminates the use of modern vehicle approved repairers who have limited experience of repairing classic cars.
  • Uninsured loss recovery insurance is often a chargeable extra, but this again will be included within the premium quoted.
  • Discounted rates for ARCC member clubs.
  • Uninsured loss recovery insurance is often a chargeable extra, but this again will be included within the premium quoted.

We wanted to choose an insurer that gave us a complete package as standard. The policy which Classicline are offering is just that.

James Spencer – ARCC Vice Chairman

James Spencer, Vice Chairman of the ARCC, said: “We wanted to choose an insurer that gave us a complete package as standard. The policy which Classicline are offering is just that. This scheme is available now and we would encourage members to give it a try and feel certain that you will be happy with the premium quoted, especially when taking into account the excellent policy cover provided. The ARCC committee certainly feels that the scheme must be regarded as a valued membership benefit.”
