ClassicLine would like to extend our congratulations to our partner classic vehicle clubs on being awarded trophies and commendations at the recent Classic & Sports Car club awards. The awards ceremony took place on the 12th November 2021 during the NEC Classic Motor Show.

Best Club Run/Rally went to The Triumph Sports Six Club, TR Register, and the MG Car Club for their jointly run Triumph and MG Weekend. The Wolseley Register was also highly commended for their four-day National Rally.

The Figaro Owners Club picked up Best Club Show/Event for The Nissan Figaro 30th Birthday Party Weekend which attracted 242 Figaro’s.

John Simmons’ elegant 1938 Sunbeam-Talbot Sports Saloon which was proudly displayed on the Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register stand was highly commended in the Car of the Show category, with the top prize being awarded to one of our personal show favourites, the 1934 Mercedes-Benz 130H on The Mercedes-Benz Club stand.

Finally, Star of the Future went to James Millington of the TVR Car Club, who as well as taking on the role of youngest regional coordinator aged just 19, also organised successful events such as ‘Peaks to the Beach’. The TVR Car Club was also highly commended in the Best Contribution to Charity class.

Well done to all the winners and highly commended entries at this year’s awards.

There’s even more good news, the NEC Classic Motor Show is back in 2022! Remember to put the 11-13 November 2022 in your diary.
