As we edge ever closer to 2019, ClassicLine looks back on a truly momentous 2018.

It’s been an incredibly busy year and we’ve loved meeting fellow petrolheads at numerous classic car shows across the UK.

What’s even more exciting is that 2019 is lining up to be even busier. Stay posted for updates of where we’ll be next year.

Gemini Events

2018 has been a milestone year for many reasons, not least because it was the first time that ClassicLine sponsored the Gemini Events organised series of motor shows.

These hugely popular car shows started in spring and finished at the end of summer and attracted thousands of classic car lovers from across the UK.

We loved being at all 11 shows and our pop-up purple marquee became a magnet for people wanting to meet the team from ClassicLine.

The shows also gave great exposure to ClassicLine and there were many highlights (in fact too many to mention) but particular favourites included the Knebworth Classic Motor Show, the Ragley Hall Motor Show and the Trentham Gardens Father’s Classic Day Out.

Indeed, such was the success of these events that ClassicLine will once again be the headline sponsor in 2019 so if we didn’t catch you in 2018 then hopefully we’ll see you next year.

London to Brighton

ClassicLine was also the headline sponsor of the London to Brighton Classic, Kit & Sports Car Run organised by GE Classic Motor Events.

It was a scorching day, quite literally, and proclaimed as the ‘best ever’ by driver and navigators as a fantastic mix of more than 400 vehicles headed towards the south coast.

It is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the classic car year and ClassicLine added some extra spice with our incredible prize package which saw one lucky winner win free entry into the run, plus overnight accommodation at the iconic Grand Hotel.

2018’s run is going to be hard to top but we’re confident it will be.

Look forward to seeing you in Brighton next year.

Spring and summer lovin

A packed spring and summer calendar also saw other great events that ClassicLine attended, including Simply Porsche at Beaulieu, the TVR Car Club at Burghley House and The Imp Club National.

But we weren’t finished there as we still managed to find time to attend two of our favourite events, the NSRA Hot Rod Supernationals and the NSRA Fun Run.

NEC Classic

However, 2018 always ends on a high with the NEC Classic Motor Show and this year was no exception.

We held a number of events on our stand, including a best face in the hole competition, as well as a free prize draw.

It’s always amazing to be at the NEC, which was the biggest ever this year and attracted more than 71,000 attendees.

Indeed, more cars than ever on display and 300 car clubs, ensured the ClassicLine team were kept busier than ever meeting new customers.

Did you meet the ClassicLine team in 2018? We’d love to hear from you.
