The International MG & Triumph Spares Day is a real enthusiast spares event and swap meet. Split over four halls of the NAEC Stoneleigh, it’s one we always look forward to. If you need any spares for your classic MG or Triumph, you certainly cannot go wrong by attending this event.

This year’s event on Sunday 9th February 2020 will also be remembered as the day that Storm Ciara hit! Our usual short trip down the M69, and up the A46, was an eventful one as the 80mph plus winds and driving rain were blowing us all over the carriageways on our journey in. We arrived safely however, even if it was with a slightly increased heart rate…

With the show due to open at 9.30am, there was already a huge queue of people waiting to get in at 9.15am. It just goes to show how hardy the classic car community is. Not even Storm Ciara was going to put them off buying essential spares and accessories for their cherished classic cars!

Halls Three and Four were dedicated to classic car and car club displays. There were some superb cars on show with several Triumph and MG car clubs in attendance supporting this great event.

Thank you to everyone who came and spoke to us on the ClassicLine stand. Our Darren and Amy had a busy day discussing our flexible insurance cover options and club insurance schemes. To all who attended the 2020 MG & Triumph Spares Day, we wish you a great 2020 classic car show season!
