Expect a weekend packed with great company, a drive out, celebrations and plenty of Figgy fun, all in the picturesque setting of a 16th Century Hall. Plus, a world record attempt – this anniversary celebration is not to be missed!
Originally launched in 1991 as part of Nissan’s famous Pike Factory project, the Nissan Figaro has become one of the UK’s most popular Japanese classic cars. Thirty five years on, its distinctive retro styling and unique character continue to turn heads wherever it goes, including the club’s visit to the Isle of Man last year, and Ireland Rally which took place earlier in the year.
Founded in 2009, the Figaro Owners Club has grown into an international community of more than 1,000 members across over 40 countries. Alongside their extensive events calendar, the club provides technical advice, insurance valuations and a compressive online archive dedicated to the history and development of the Nissan Figaro. Taking place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August 2026 at Walton Hall Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire, the celebration will bring together Nissan Figaro enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond for what promises to be the club’s biggest anniversary event to date.
The 35th Anniversary Big Birthday Bash weekend begins on Friday with an optional visit to the British Motor Museum, where attendees can enjoy discounted admission and dedicated Figaro parking before returning to Walton Hall for the Big Birthday Bash Quiz in the evening.
Saturday will be the highlight of the celebrations. The day will begin with an official welcome and awards presentations, with 35 prizes marking the 35th anniversary of this much loved car. Owners will head out on a drive before taking part in a world record attempt involving the cars and a prosecco picnic. To be in with a chance of achieving a world record, all participants will need to be alongside their Figaro having a picnic at the same time.
Throughout the afternoon, members will have the opportunity to explore the club’s commemorative Nissan Figaro history and archive display, while hearing updates from club partners ahead of a charity club raffle raising funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. The celebrations will continue into the evening with an ‘Early 1990s’ themed gala dinner, entertainment and disco. Think 90s grunge, double denim and shell suits, it will be a fun tribute to the decade that introduced the world to the Nissan Figaro!
Every attendee will receive a commemorative event tote bag on arrival with a special anniversary event car flag, rally plate and window sticker. Official club merchandise featuring the commemorative 35th anniversary logo is also available to purchase via the club’s new RedBubble store “FigaroOwners”.
