A fantastic day was had by all at Beaumanor Hall’s Nostalgia Show on Sunday 24th July 2022. A comfortably warm and dry day, and the history and grandeur of the setting, made it the perfect backdrop for such a magnificent collection of cars. The glorious sunshine allowed the cars to be displayed at their best, sparkling off perfectly polished bonnets. It was a day for driving with the roof down too, showcasing interiors as immaculate as the exteriors.

There was a good array of vehicles on display, with everything from classic MGs to American classic cars and military vehicles. It was great to see several classic car clubs in attendance too with many of the smaller, local clubs having the best view being set up on the grounds just in front of the hall.

From our central position on the show field, we had a busy day talking with many of the vehicle owners. Sometimes it was about insurance, but a lot of the time it was happy customers just wanting to say “hello“. We had many fascinating conversations with people about classic cars and motorbikes, which really makes the day.

Before the event came to a close, ClassicLine had the honour of presenting the “Oldest Car in Attendance” award. This went to a 1928 Renault and the owner was absolutely thrilled!

A big thank you goes to the organisers, Classic Motor Events, and we look forward to the two-day Classic Motor Show at Knebworth Park on the 28th – 29th August 2022. Hope to see you there!
