Classic car clubs are the lifeblood of the classic motoring sector, and each year, one of the highlights of the NEC Classic Motor Show is seeing the creativity, dedication, and passion that car clubs pour into their displays.

Over 310 classic car clubs and groups were represented at the event this year. With stands showcasing perfectly preserved originals to cleverly modified classics, every stand told its own story. So here is just a small selection of some of our favourites from the weekend.

Jensen Owners Club

Featured a stunning cream 1953 early Interceptor, one of only 88 produced.

Singer Owners Club

The club marked an extraordinary 150 years since the inception of Singer & Co. Their beautifully arranged display traced the marque’s journey from bicycles to cars, telling a fascinating story.

British Mini Club

The stand not only featured the eye catching Wood & Pickett Mini by Callum but also a restored 1979 Police Mini Van.

Reliant Scimitar and Sabre Owners Club

This club stand included four examples of Scimitar and Sabre cars, including a lovely example of a Scimitar GTE SE5.

Post Office Vehicle Club

The Post Office Vehicle Club stand featured an iconic red 1956 Morris Minor Post Office Van and an earlier 1943 Morris telecoms van.

Volvo Owners Club

A rare gem was to be found on this club stand, a stunning light blue 1956-57 Volvo P1900. Only 68 were produced, and this was chassis number 65.

TVR Car Club

Marking their 60th anniversary of the club and the saving of TVR from bankruptcy in 1965, the TVR Car Club put on a really dazzling display that captured the marque’s distinctive mix of performance and personality.

Ford 100e.com

A selection of three very different Ford 100e’s including a Skyline-powered 100e!

Model A Ford Club of Great Britain

As part of the “Best of Both Worlds” theme, this club showcased a mixture of original examples and vehicles used and enjoyed by vintage hotrodders on the beach at Pendine Sands, time trials and the drag strip.

SAAB Enthusiasts Club

A stunning Best of Both Worlds example drew the crowds here, a red custom SAAB 95 displayed alongside a classic SAAB 96.

Klasyczna Polina UK

We spotted a 1929 Humber 9/29 2/3 Seater on this stand. Only 14 examples were produced, with only one surviving example since 1976 – this car!

Reliant Owners Club

The Reliant Owners Club celebrated two anniversaries in one: 90 years of Reliant and 50 years of the Reliant Kitten.

National Street Rod Association

The NSRA crew put on another standout display of rods, customs and dragsters. A particular favourite being the 1923 Ford Model T.

Coleshill Auto Breakfast Meet

Had a stand featuring five vehicles, including a 1973 Kenworth K100 truck. The group was busy promoting their Big Day Out 2026 event, which raises vital funds for the Warwickshire Blood Bikes.

Audi 80 “Cab Coupe Enthusiasts

This club stand featured a colourful and eye catching display of four cars.

Split Screen Van Club

Three stunning examples of split screen campers, which looked fantastic under the NEC hall lights.

Classic VW Owners Club

The four club member cars looked fantastic on this stand, including the bright yellow 1989 VW Polo.

Classic Corvette Club

Impressive as always, the club featured six members cars on their stand, representing each era of the Corvette.

Rootes Archive Centre Trust

As always, the Rootes Archive Centre Trust flew the flag for all the Rootes group produced vehicles and member clubs, with their stand this year featuring a 1980s Talbot Avenger.

Did you know that for each insurance policy taken out by a RACT club member, ClassicLine Insurance gives a donation back to the Rootes Archive Centre Trust?

The Imp Club

This club always welcomes Imps of all styles, from historic examples to modified classics, including a Commer Imp Van.

Wolseley Hornet Special Club

Taking inspiration from the cars built by Swallow Coachbuilding Co., the coupe bodied Hornet special on this club stands really drew the crowds.

Lotus Grand Tourers Club

Club for the Lotus 70’s Wedges celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Lotus Eclat, which was released in October 1975, offering a more conventional fast back coupe to run alongside the Elite.

Jowett Car Club

As one of the UK’s oldest one-make clubs, the Jowett Car Club celebrated 75 years of the Jowett Jupiter sports cars. Their pride in the brand’s heritage was clear to see.

Wolseley Register

Commemorating 50 years since the final Wolseley rolled off the production line, the 18-22 “Wedge” display proved a real talking point for visitors who remember these cars on the road.

Lancia Motor Club

This club stand included a rare Ferrari V8 engined Lancia LC2, which achieved many motorsports wins in the 1980s.

Jaguar Drivers’ Club

This stand featured a fantastic mix of competition and road cars. Leading the line up was the legendary 1956 Jaguar D-type ‘Long Nose’, one of only eleven ever produced, and a renowned modified Mark I saloon, created for the 1959 production saloon car season.

The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club

This club had created a really welcoming display of members’ cars, many of which are used and enjoyed all year round at the regular regional events organised by the club.

289 Register

Another club taking part in the “Best of Both Worlds” theme, the stunning bare metal Hawk 289 Street – AC Cobra MK2 really stood out!

Tyrrells Classic Workshop

Although not a club stand, you couldn’t help but stop by the Lamborghini Miura on the Iain Tyrell stand in Hall 1. What a stunner!

Meguire’s Club Showcase

Again, we know this is not specifically a club stand, but we couldn’t help but include the 1950 Tempo Matador in this selection. Partially custom coach built, valued at £200,000 and thought to be the only one like this in existence.

Once again, this is only a small snapshot of the incredible club stands at the NEC Classic Motor Show. If you had a favourite stand or spotted something unique, we’d love to hear about it. A huge thank you to every club member who worked so hard to put these club stands together; your enthusiasm and dedication make this event what it is.

We’re already counting down to next year’s show!
