The ClassicLine team are looking forward to this weekends Classic & Retro Show in the stunning grounds of Himley Hall, in Dudley. The venue will once again play host to around 800 vehicles for this year’s show being held on Sunday 1st September 2019.

Set amongst 180 acres of landscaped grounds and parkland and dating from the 18th century, it’s the perfect setting for a display of classic cars from the 1920s to the 1990s, along with commercial and military vehicles and motorcycles.

As the headline sponsor of Gemini Events, Classic Motor Shows, we are looking forward to seeing all the car clubs who are attending. Read our quick guide to what else you can expect to see…

Other special vehicles include the oldest car at the show, a 1927 Humber 20, plus a rare 1980 Triumph TR7 fitted with fuel injection is a definite highlight. Also keep a look out for the 1971 Fiat Abarth 595 that starred in the Channel 5 restoration series, Classic Car Rescue, back in 2014.

The promise of so many fine vehicles ensures the judges will face a tough task when it comes to choosing the awards for the best cars and club stands, and owners will be vying for the honour of Pride of Ownership. Sponsored by ClassicLine Insurance, the winner of the shows Pride of Ownership is announced at the end of the show with the year’s overall winner receiving a year’s free insurance with ClassicLine.

And it isn’t just about classic vehicles as the show promises entertainment for all the family, while the music this year comes from talented singer, Carrie-Anne, who will be performing hits from the 1940s right up to the modern day.

Hope to see you there!
