It was hard to believe that Drive It Day marked the 12-month anniversary of the Rootes Archive Centre official opening of their new Archive building.

This year the Trust decided to be a staging post for many of the tours that were taking place around the lovely Oxfordshire and Warwickshire countryside.

During the day they managed to have a constant average of 35 cars on site as enthusiasts came and went with many using it as a coffee, lunch or tea stop as the “Classic Commer Coffee” PB van working tirelessly during the day.

It was great to see a wide range of cars including many non Rootes come to experience what the Archive can offer both as a point of reference but also as a great place to meet up with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

CL: Sounds like a great day Andy, thank you for writing to us. We always love to hear what the clubs and organisations we support have been up to.
