The summer classic car show season is in full swing, and we’ve just ticked another great event off this year’s calendar.
The annual Rootes Heritage Day was held on Sunday 20th July 2025 at the British Motor Musuem, near Gaydon, and although it was a very soggy start for Adam and Chloe, it was great to meet up with the friendly folk from the Rootes Archive Centre and fellow classic car enthusiasts. It was so nice to see so many smiley faces throughout the day and that the weather didn’t deter everyone away!
Hosted by the Rootes Archive Centre Trust, as the umbrella organisation for the Rootes community, there was, as always, a strong turnout of pre-70s Hillman’s, Humbers, Singers and Sunbeams as well as many commercial vehicles. ClassicLine Insurance has been supporter of the Rootes Archive Centre Trust from the beginning, providing competitive premiums and increased benefits to multiple car clubs that are all dedicated to the car manufacturer Rootes and its subsidiaries. Once again, the show was another busy one for us, with new potential customers and loyal existing clients coming over to have a chat or to discuss a new insurance quotation for their cherished vehicles – whilst they hid from the rain!
Thanks for having us. Hope to see you all next year!
Couldn’t make the Rootes Heritage Day? Don’t worry, there’s still time to get involved! The Rootes Archive Centre is hosting an Open Day on Sunday 7th September 2025 and will also be exhibiting at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November.
