As the seasons change, we look back on what has been a fantastic summer 2025 motoring season.
There’s something truly special about the summer months for classic and performance vehicle owners. Long days, great friends, and the chance to take your cherished vehicle out in the sunshine. It’s what classic motoring is all about. So, this August bank holiday, we asked our ClassicLine clients to share their favourite moments from behind the wheel, and you didn’t disappoint!
From scenic road trips through the countryside to days out at motoring events, your photos capture the spirit that comes with classic car ownership, and we’re proud to support our clients with insurance policies to cover them for all eventualities enabling you to make more memories out on the open road.
Here are just a few of the snapshots you’ve shared:
David enjoyed Rollhard at Bicester Heritage in his E30 M3 – “Awesome meet….one of the best meets dedicated to modified cars.”

William soaked up the sunshine at the Burley Classic Car Show, part of the weeklong annual Burley in Wharfedale Festival – “Around 325 classic cars were there, perfect weather and a wonderfully relaxed and friendly atmosphere.”

Steve caught up with fellow Dolly owners at Elvington Airfield with his Dolomite 1500SE.

Frank and his family captured the essence of a summer road trip – “We were coming back from the coast in our Triumph Stag after a wonderful day driving through the Forest of Bowland. You can see Morecambe Bay in the background.”

David made the most of the summer getting out and about in his new classic MG.

Peter visited Silverstone in his GT3 RS for the hugely popular Silverstone Festival event.

It was a bank holiday weekend highlight for Peter with his ex-Stella McCartney Mercedes 190E.

With the weather onside, Peter cruised to Barton upon Humber for the Ropewalk Classic Car Meet in his stunning TR V8.

Lexi the Dog’s favourite place to relax on a sunny afternoon is in the boot of Bill’s MG Magnette ZA. Taken at Kings Bromley Treasured Vehicles event, what a beautiful sunny day for it!

Ross enjoyed his debut show is his Ford Pop at the NSRA Hot Rod Supernationals, even getting the seal of approval from special guest Dave Shuten of Galpin Speed Shop L.A.

It’s not every day you can park under a Vulcan Bomber! David experienced the scale of this aircraft up close as he enjoyed a photo opportunity with his classic Daimler at the AVRO Museum.

We’d like to thank everyone who shared their summer highlights with us. To see so many vehicles out and about being enjoyed is what makes our job so worthwhile.
If you attended a summer event or enjoyed a memorable drive this summer, we’d love to see your photos.
