Spring has sprung. Well almost.

As the days get longer and the weather turns milder, then it is time to make sure your classic is in tip top condition.

So, following on from our tongue-in-cheek winter storage tips, ClassicLine now presents for your amusement (we hope) a selection of truly amazing spring preparation tips.

Clean as a whistle

Make sure your car looks its best by giving it a thorough wash.

However, don’t do it yourself.

Those of you who saw our recent ‘Bish, bash, dosh….’ article will know that you can trick the kids to do the tedious chore by pretending it’s a game. You don’t even need to pay them!

You’ve got the look

Now your car is spick and span then you also need to look your best in the smartest attire.

For those of you who don’t know then there is a ‘phenomenon’ called the internet which seems to be doing quite well. It allows you to buy clothing on-line without even having to visit your local tailor.

Of course, we at ClassicLine are champions of high street shopping, if only for the fact it’s a great excuse to take the classic for a spin.

Stay cool

No, we’re not talking about topping up your engine with coolants as we assume you already know to do that.

Staying cool actually means keeping a pair of sunglasses in the glovebox as the sun can still be low down at this time of year.

While we think wearing sunglasses outdoors is OK we think the sporting of sunglasses indoors just to look cool is a definite no-no. After all, how can you see where you are going???

ClassicLine Insurance would love to hear from you if you have any spring preparation tips.
