The August bank holiday weekend saw the ClassicLine team travel down to Knebworth for the 29th Annual Classic Motor Show hosted by Gemini Events. Last year’s show was sadly a washout on the Sunday, but this year made up for it! Sunday and Monday were bathed in glorious sunshine.

Nicky and Travis arrived on the Sunday and set up camp overlooking the picturesque grounds of Knebworth Park. With temperature climbing into the 30’s, they expected a busy day! As they looked out from the ClassicLine stand there was hardly a blade of grass able to be seen amidst the classic cars all neatly set out in their respective decades and car clubs. From Morgans to Morris Minors, and Mustangs to Minis, there was a great selection of classic and prestige cars on show for young and old to enjoy.

Many of our clients had taken advantage of the free entry tickets offered by ClassicLine in a recent newsletter, including many from our friends at Ford100e.com. These participants proudly formed the ClassicLine display with a varied mix of classic cars and custom cars.

Nicky was put in the hot seat to choose Sunday’s Pride of Ownership awards winner. After much thought, Nicky decided on a 1987 Ford Fiesta owned by Denise Kunzi. Keep an eye out for the story behind this great car…

Bank holiday Monday was the turn of Charlotte and Lee. Once again it was another scorching day with plenty of new faces to meet and quote. Monday also saw a new set of ClassicLine free ticket champs show off their cars in the late summer sun. Monday’s Pride of Ownership was picked by Lee who settled on a wonderful Morris Minor owned by Martin Worman. Once again, there will be a separate feature surrounding Martin and his vehicle…

We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and are grateful to Gemini Events for their hospitality.

Despite the summer almost being over we still have a handful of events we will be covering up to the end of September so if you see us around please come and say hello. Whether you’re an existing client or just curious as to what classes as a classic, we’d be more than happy to have a friendly chat to help you out.

We hope you enjoy our photos!
