If only all car shows could be like this one! We were up, and on the road to Rotherham, nice and early for the penultimate Gemini Events show on the 8th September, hoping for good weather and attendance – we certainly weren’t disappointed!
There was a fantastic array of classic cars on display on the lawns of the impressive Wentworth Woodhouse country house. The venue has a fascinating link to the British motor industry. Herbert Austin spent his childhood growing up there. Displays included everything from pre-war all the way up to modern classics, including a great line up of Ford Capris celebrating the models 50th anniversary, and of course many from the Austin marque.
We were situated in and amongst the traders and had great interaction with existing and prospective clients. The only downside to being so busy was the fact that we missed the award ceremonies!
The fact that were now equipped with laptops and able to dial into our live system to offer bespoke quotes has certainly become a hit with our clients.
