Expect to see…

Alongside the club displays, the show has attracted a strong list of entries from individual owners which guarantees an eclectic mix of British, European, and American classic cars. Fans of the latter will certainly enjoy the likes of the 1978 Lincoln Mk V and the 1966 Pontiac Bonneville.

Much-loved family models from the likes of Austin, Standard and Vauxhall will also be on hand to bring back a few memories, and fans of the fast Ford should look out for the 1966 Lotus Cortina and 1983 Ford Escort RS1600i.

Sports cars including a variety of TVRs and MGs will certainly prove popular, too, and being summer show-goers can look forward to plenty of convertibles. Alongside models such as the always-popular Triumph TRs and Stags it’s also a chance to take a closer look at the diminutive Suzuki Cappuccino. The latter’s 3-cylinder, turbocharged engine was as tiny as the car’s dimensions and only around 1100 examples were brought to the UK.

This year also marks a number of anniversaries, with Citroen celebrating 100 years and Fiat an even more impressive 120 years. Enthusiasts of the French marque will certainly want to take a closer look at the Citroen 2CV on display, and if you prefer a Latin classic then you will be treated to a rare hot hatchback in the form of a 1989 Fiat Uno Turbo and a Fiat Panda 4×4 Sisley.

And how could we forget the iconic Mini which celebrates its 60th birthday this year. From Clubman to Cooper, nearly a dozen examples will be on show and the Mini limousine conversion being brought to the show by Derek’s Mini Club and Classic Car Club is sure to draw a crowd!

Take part in…

There will be Daily Driver and Pride of Ownership competitions, with the overall winner receiving a year’s free car insurance from ClassicLine at the end of the show season. The annual Concours also culminates in the ‘Best in Show’ award to close the show.
