The NSRA Southern Swap Meet is usually the hotrodding season opener. But this year, the event had the important job of closing the season. Postponed from its usual slot in early spring, the event which took place at North Weald Airfield on the 7th of November, was a roaring success as usual!

The traders and eager autojumble shoppers took advantage of the crisp autumnal day, and armed with their shopping lists, trolley carts, and wallets of cash, they picked up auto parts and bargains in readiness for their winter rodding projects.

For many, this may have been the last chance to see friends before the season finishes, but what a way to end the season. Sunnier days are on the horizon, as it is now only four months to wait until the 2022 NSRA Southern Swap Meet!

One of the highlights of the day was the area reserved for pre-1972 vehicle parking. Many took advantage of a nice day and cruised to the event in their pre-72 rod or custom, so this impromptu show ‘n’ shine proved popular. We hope you enjoy a few of our photos below…
