Well it only seems like it was five minutes ago as I was getting a scooter ready for this little foray from Hinckley to Burton. The weather certainly was challenging due to the wind and the rain, as well as running in a new Polini kit to boot! It’s a good job a few of us met up for a full English breakfast before we set off…
The Burton Brewers Scooter Club host their annual custom show, parts fair and night ‘do’ at The National Brewery Centre in Burton on Trent. it’s a great venue that provides ample space to hold the custom show plus a large outside area with a variety of traders. Although, I really did feel for the guys outside this year as they had to endure the best of England’s February weather!
This year’s event on the 22nd February 2020 played host to some stunning scooters too. A particular favourite on show was the Lambretta Chopper called Liquid. The engineering is stunning – it just adds a whole new dimension to customising a Lambretta!
I would like to say thank you to all of the Burton Brewers Scooter Club who did an amazing job of putting on this event and persevering despite the horrid weather.
